Feedback Forms was a collaborative installation between Stanley Quaia and Akeelah Bertram developed for the one week residency at Pala Fruits: The Hierarchy of Perception at Plateau Gallery, produced by Zona Dynamic (Berlin). The installation is constituted from two works 'Kalinda' a projection which is refracted by metalic foil contained within a long viewing box and 'Transferal' a live analogue video relay which initially feeds off a fragment of refracted light produced by 'Kalinda'. The video relay progressively feeds off the last component (Camera to screen) each time reducing and abstracting the initial image provided by 'Kalinda'. As the viewer navigates the space to view 'Kalinda' they cut across the paths of cameras to screens which affects the images on all the other screens before it. This evoked a level of dynamic interaction between both installations and the viewer. Whilst a constant video image was supplied by 'Kalinda' and reduced by 'Transferal' the viewer was able to intersect the relay in turn playing with the layers of intricacy involved analogy superimposing fragments of the viewer into the work itself.
